9 - The Basketball Murder
Camp Willow Run; On a cold night, all the cabins are pitch black with one light in the middle of all 12 cabins. 6 for the girls and 6 for the boys, but yet there is one cabin that isn’t used. Cabin 13, is the most notorious cabin ever, and it has the most infamous story about it ever. Two years ago, an AAU basketball team came to this camp to bond more and get to know each other better. One of the activities they could do at the camp was basketball, they had a gym for those people who wanted to play. There was only one person on the team that was white, while the others were all black. One night, when everyone should’ve been asleep, the team went to the gym to play. They are 13 players on the team, but only 12 players came to the gym. One player named Dondre went back to the cabin to try to get his knee pads. As he went to his bed and looked through his bag, the door creaked. As soon as Dondre turned his head, his throat started to leak out blood. He started screaming, but no one listened as he bled out to death. The next day, all the 12 players were dead. The police were all over the scene, they looked through the cabin and the gymnasium. They knew they were 13 players so one was missing, and as they went through the river, they saw the one white boy and his body dead. His name was Andrew and he knew that this would happen. And right inside his pocket was a letter, that had three words on it, he received the letter the night before. “WE ARE HERE”, those three words cost the life of 13 players.
