The Stars

Day 53
The stars sure were pretty tonight. I wonder why the constellations seemed off though. Might’ve been my orientation.

Day 54
Nothing to note, unlike last night, I could see the belt of the Hunter. I could also find Ursa Major and Minor.

Day 55
That can’t be good. I can’t seem to find Beetleguese. The Milky Way strip is also fairly dimmer, even in the countryside. There's a reason that I moved out here, and it most certainly wasn’t so I couldn’t see stars.

Day 56
Yet again, Beetleguese is gone. The night sure is more boring without it. The stars seem to be moving too, but that must be my imagination.

Day 57
I’m going to try and look through the orbital camera’s recent pictures.

Hour one of the test. Nothing to note.
Hour two, some of them are moving, and not just the binary stars.
Hour three. Did that star… just wink at me?
Hour four. What? It’s still flickering. That can’t be good.
Hour five. This is starting to freak me out. I’m going to check the observatory telescope now.

Okay that, is freaky. The stars are blinking real phrases in morse code, saying who knows what. Oh it's translating now! “R’no-” and it cut off. What? The database isn’t coming up with anything similar to that in any way. I’m going to go to bed.

Day 58
Jeez that dream was scary. I was floating in space and my hand grabbed me, except my hand was huge! Anyway there’s nothing to worry about, Beetleguese is back.

My hands are feeling oddly shaky, for some reason. I just can’t cut my onions the way I used to. My burgers really aren’t the same with uneven onions.

Day 59
Same weird dream again, except the hand was that of a corpse left to rot for a seemingly very long time. Spooky. The stars seem to be gathering in a single spot, or it's just my imagination.

Day ??? (if it even is daytime)
Huh. There are no stars tonight. Actually, I don’t know if it even is night. The sun vanished. I’ll grab my flashlight.

Oh crap. Oh crap oh crap oh crap. I gotta get outta here.
